The bristles have the texture that means it is not going to be too rough on your skin. It has a rounded tip which is perfect to be able to get into little cracks and nooks. For example this is great when it comes to highlighting and working your way around the crease as well as the inner corners.

You could call this brush a multitasker because it is more than just an eyeshadow brush, but works perfectly to be able to get all those dark circles away, using a little concealer. Some people have two of these brushes. One they would just use for the purpose of eyeshadow application and the other is for the old dark rings, but there is no reason why you can't just use the same brush.

There are so many eyeshadow brushes out there and everyone has a preference. Although, looking at how many people will opt for this particular brush as their first choice may just tell you something. The fact that is goes for just under $40 is a steal. Some may not agree with this, but if you go for a cheapie you will find that you will have to replace the brush periodically and this will end up being more expensive. The brush works well with MAC 239 shader for applying darker shades. However, if you are a one shade kinda girl then you will be fine with this brush alone.
