A Passion for Wedding Photography in Ramsgate and Kent

Take a look at the attached image and what do you see? To many it will just be a simple snap taken at a wedding, the bride, some girlfriends and family and a posy in the air. Technically the composition is not inch perfect 'rule of thirds' but they are all smiling infectiously, the bride has that 'close my eyes and hope this goes where I want it to' look on her face, there is excitement, fun, anticipation and friendship in the image which totally captures that single moment in a wedding day that tells a tale.

Photography is only part of the story and part of what makes clients smile when they look back at the images I have taken. I believe that passion is the key, passion for the whole experience of allowing me to take care of the photography on this most special of days. To me a wedding is not just a job that consists of taking some photos for a customer at a price; it is a labour of love that starts with that first contact.

To me, clients are all special people and I treat them that way. They are all different but they are all filled with the same sense of excitement and anticipation of the day to come and do not want to speak to a washing machine salesman when they speak to 'their' photographer. And 'their' photographer is how I aim to be known, not simply 'the' photographer. It starts with that all important first contact, grows with face to face meetings, builds towards the day itself and continues to the delivery of the finished images and wedding album. What I aspire to in all of my clients is a continuing relationship with their photographer for years to come. Friendly, polite, cheerful, organised, knowledgeable, nothing is too much trouble for my clients. By the time that the big day comes around the couple will look forward to seeing me and will know that I understand exactly what they are hoping to achieve from their wedding photography in Ramsgate and will trust me to deliver it. I understand how uncomfortable it can be in front of a camera, it takes a little getting used to and I know that by building this trust, not only will the couple feel at ease but the images will reflect it: relaxed without feeling too self conscious and themselves even in the most romantic of poses!
