A QR Code for the World

QR4 World

The QR4 World idea began with an exhibition in central London. Participants from different countries took part in the QR4 World-QR code postcard style exhibition hosted in central London.

The event attracted leading interactive designers, award winning film makers, aspiring artists, website owners, and global organizations to participate by incorporating a QR Code into a postcard size image/work.

Five works were selected by Sotheby's Institute of Art -judges-Dr. Lis Darby (Programme Director MA Contemporary Design) Dr. Bernard Vere ( Lecturer, MA Fine Arts Decorative Arts) and Claire Brown (Director of Marketing). The images were displayed at the London Institute in July.

The selections included: Mobile Bouquets, TraX Actions, Nothing Like Chocolate, Television Girl, and RememberMe-RememberUS which can be view at Popabroad

QR4 World has become something more and recently traveled to Lodz, Poland.

QR4 World image and postcard design was presented by Jassen at his solo art exhibition in Lodz, Poland at Galeria Adi Art on March 16, 2012. The idea of connecting innovative projects and people together using a mobile style design is moving in new directions. A review from this exhibition can be found at Reymont.pl

Hey, great story, is there a follow-up now? I would like to know where this idea has gone since - did it travel and become bigger? If you get a moment could you pop over to my lens on QR codes and let me know what you think? Really appreciate it, thanks. Dom.
