A SHOT IN THE DARK

This is a night shot of the Ferndale Repertory Theater and it has a special meaning to me because I was having an art show in that little gallery to the left of the box office.

I had my camera on the roof of the car and set the aperture to manual. I like the angle of the highway lights in relation to the angle of the foreground fence.

This was taken on the balcony of a restaurant in Lahaina. Flash was off and a manual setting.

This was taken at a friend's beautifully restored home in Ferndale, California. The color is from outside lights hitting the colored glass windows.

Ok, it was a lucky shot. It took 10 shots to get this one. The moon was in a perfect spot.

This is a shot of my nephew Alex and his jazz band playing at an out door wedding reception. I like the mood of the picture.

I know.....this looks like a Walmart commercial, but I was just in the neighborhood.

I swung the camera to the left as I took the shot. Can't remember where this was.....

I like to experiment with shooting fireworks. Sometimes I move the camera and other times I zoom the lens.

I like the earthy colors and composition in this shot.

I shot this one in Weaverville, California, on Main Street.
