Working in your homes may be difficult during the first few months. But with the proper attention and time management, quitting your day job and focusing on your home business may be one of the best decisions you have ever made in your entire career.

1. Wake up earlier than the kids. This is the preparation hour, to assess the day ahead. A time for meditation and envision that the day will be great.

2. Enjoy wake-up moments with kids. It's the time that kids will love kissing and snuggling with parents. It is a time for eating breakfast together. Presence counts at this young age they are in.

3. Keep them busy. Set a routine of fun things to do to keep them busy and inform them in advance about having to work.

4. Hire a sitter. Those that can afford a hired helper to attend to the kids at least a few times over the week can help give a moment of privacy to parents.

5. Work at flexible hours. Making goals, like working for 4-5 hours per day or while the kids are having their nap time or are blissfully playing.

6. Be flexible. Taking them outside allows them to be active while parents bring along their briefcases along to do some job done.

7. Give them tasks. Kids feel most important when they are playing "little assistants" to mom and dad. Stapling, clipping or cutting are tasks that they can manage to do. They will surely love to hear "thank you."

8. Do some things after hours. Some of the private work can be done when kids are asleep. This will give an extra hour of peace and quiet.

9. Give them their needs at the moment. The choice to work home is the choice to be with kids. Be happy for the chance to give them a hug or a kiss.

10. Take pleasure in working and spending time with kids. The hard work is for them anyway.

It is important to give the children priority over business. Working home means the choice of spending more time with the family. It is a waste to be stressed out by business. Enjoy!

Of course, money is the single most important lesson why you have set up your home in the first place. However, if you focus more on money, you will tend to be more subjective than objective. In turn, you will miss your goals.

There may be many traits that successful home business owners may possess. However, without these three important attributes, success will be unfeasible.

1. Lawn-mowing Services. Grown people sometimes are too tired to mow their own lawn and are happy enough to rid of the heavy work. If the price is right and their yard looks like it has received a lot of TLC, repeat customers are likely to be at hand.

2. Baby-sitting Services. This is a service that never fails. Most working moms and dads would really appreciate this help, specially for those who have home businesses themselves.

3. Semi Day Care Center Services. Teens, with the permission of their parents (and help from some friends), can make their homes a day care center. Imagine the convenience of having to stay home and earning dollars for a few hours.

4. Car Wash Services. People would find it more comfortable to be home and have service come right into their doorstep to wash their cars and be given the service-with-a-smile advantage.

5. Techy Services. Teens are literally whizzes when it comes to computers and it is an advantage. Many people need help with various works such as burning CD's, converting tapes to DVD formats or even putting up a web site.

6. Pet Grooming Services. Pet lovers can now take advantage of their interest and earn money by walking dogs, grooming or sitting. The local vet may have ideas as to who needs these services.
