Celebrities give their babies very unique and different names. It is not just celebrities that do that, they just happen to be in the limelight.
I will share with you some of the names I have discovered through searching.

In my life

My own mother had a list of names she was going to name me:
Crystal Dawn after the song Delta Dawn (It was the year 1970 when I was born)
Rebecca Lynn (don't know why)
Holly Dale
At the last minute, the time of my birth she named me after both of my grandmothers

I have never really liked my name, thinking it too old fashioned for the generation I was born into. I have learned to accept it as I have gotten older. I actually am called Tricia by those closest to me.
My daughters:

I chose her first name. Her father wanted her to have my name as her middle name, so I gave it to her.

I almost named her Amanda, but I when I saw her I said she is a Connie, plus it sounded good with her middle name Ashlyn. I knew I wanted her to have the middle name Ashlyn no matter what.

I love the way these two names sound together. I thought of many other names for her, such as Kaitlyn, Kali, Shakti, Karli, but I settled on this name as it seemed like a pretty name and the baby's spirit felt like a beautiful energy.
The Connection

A mother can feel a connection with her unborn baby.
With my first baby I knew she would be a girl and bought only girl stuff for her. My grandmother dreamt she would have curly brown hair which she did as a toddler.
My last daughter I had no insurance while pregnant with her so I did not get prenatal care. I was going to have a homebirth with a midwife, but the midwife I chose was no good and my daughter and I almost died from my water being broke too long. The midwife kept dissuading me I would be okay. I finally went to the hospital with a high fever and shaking.
With this daughter I bought hearts and girl stuff even though she was due March 2nd and I had no ultrasound telling me she was a girl.
She was born on Valentine's Day and only after her birth day did I think of how I had bought all heart stuff for her before her birth.
With my middle daughter I got very natural and green. I bought and used cloth diapers, breastfed, used organic baby food and a grinder for her, bought her only natural fiber clothes, some organic. I felt an earthy energy with her. She ended up being a capricon, an earth sign.

- Names have meanings that go back generations: a last name of "Jones" is a derivative of "John" related to "John - son." I have a black friend with the last name of Smith; I wonder if his people were blacksmiths or if his family was given the name of the people who owned them as slaves, as he knows that he had relatives who were slaves.
I know there are numerological meanings of names, the letters have numeric value and they add up to mean something.
I had to open up your lens as my name is Rose. :) I love my name, my eldest sister named me after a character in a Louisa May Alcott book : Rose in Bloom.
And your babies are beautiful - but you know that. :)

- Love your baby pics! Interesting lens! Baby names are so important and people need to remember that babies will be adults much longer than they will be children. I wish someone had told my mother that! lol *****

- My husband and I both liked old fashioned names, so the names we chose were traditional English names.

- BTW, when I was a kid girls' middle names tended to be Ann or Lee. A friend of mine had a baby a year ago, you could go to the hospital website and see all the new borns and all the girls had Grace for a middle name! Funny how that works.

- When I chose my son's names I wanted them to be rare but not out of this world. My husband required that they start with R like everyone in his family. I also tried to imagine them as adults because what sounds cute for a baby looks a whole lot different on a CEO or Attorney.

- I love this cute, original lense idea! I am one that gives my kids unique names: Colton Blaise, Riley Cruz, and Jensen Rose. Everyone always says that my kids sound like movie stars. Good luck on LOTD!

- Unique names, not to mention some of the wierd names listed above, can really be a thorn in the side of the kids as they grow up. Other kids do like to poke fun, so I don't think it's too cute to strap little ones with wierd names.
