Who is Aaron Rodgers

Aaron has grown a lot in the last couple of months during the whole Brett Favre fiasco when he was finally featured in the spotlight. At first I was extremely disappointed with the comments Rodgers made when news of Favre coming back first broke. I don't know if he was coached on what to say to the media after this all started, but his comments definitely improved as time went on.

Green Bay Packer fans went through 20 years of basement hell during the 70's and 80's and no one wants to go back to that, which is why fans will be very critical of our new quarterback, Rodgers. We have been spoiled with familiarity during the last 16 years; other players would come and go, but Brett Favre was always there. We now have a new QB under center and Packers fans need to get used to it. Whether we love or hate Aaron Rodgers is yet to be written as we start a new era in Packers history. No matter what we do, if we want to see the Pack succeed; we'll have to give Aaron Rodgers a chance.

Aaron has almost every Packer fan in the world saying "Farve who?" when it comes to the QB from the 90's and early century. In fact, I have found it funny that the other quarterback just seems to keep trying to weasel his way back into the spotlight and make it about him again.

Keep it up Aaron, thank you for giving all of Green Bay hope again in 2011.
