- I believe someone has already thought of this idea, but I am gonna post this here. Hopefully, someone who actually has the ear of Aaron Sorkin will educate him. I don't need credit or anything.
I have spoken with about different 20 people. We really loved the "West Wing." We miss it. The characters. The fantasy political culture. The drama.
As the West Wing educated many about the culture and perspective of the Whitehouse on issues, I was thinking maybe you could produce the same kind of thing in reference to Congress.
Many people do not exactly know what Congress does. Especially in these most recent times.
I think this idea could exist in the WestWing universe. Educate the public from the perspective of a freshman congressional member, with Matt Santos as president (or leaving president), in a new political environment. In this universe, Will Bailey is a whip. This takes place at least 6 or 8 years after the West Wing series finale.
There are many people hungry for this.
The show can follow this freshman congressman's career. What all congressional members endure in the beginning of their careers.
This will allow fans to see a sporadic moments of characters from the West Wing, etc. You could also create new characters that we'll all love.
I think this show could be very successful.

- I loved Studio 60 so much--and it really started to build some story momentum in those last 6 episodes. Sport Night is probably my favorite, but it's a close call. WW at its height was astonishing.
