AAU Mr. America Winners

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) held what was once one of bodybuilding's most prestigious titles: "Mr. America."

The first winners in 1938-1939 were deemed "America's Best Built Man" but the title was later changed to "Mr. America" in 1940.

In 1999, the AAU stopped holding bodybuilding contests -- here is the complete list of past winners:
