The ABBA - Music from Sweden
ABBA Music - The Abba are a pop band from Sweden that was actively performing and recording their music from 1972 to 1982. Their songs have remained popular, and are to this day played on the radio.
The members of the band were Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus, Agnetha Fältskog and Anni-Frid "Frida" Lyngstad.
Abba - The history of the Swedish Band
In April 1970 all four of them went on holiday together to the island of Cyprus. They sang for fun on the beach and finally ended up giving an improvised live performance for the United Nations soldiers stationed in Cyprus. This was the future ABBA members first performance together, even thouhg the band Abba did not exist then yet.
The name ABBA was coined much later. According to Wickipedia this is the story how the name was coined:
"ABBA" is an acronym formed from the first letters of each group member's name: Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid (Frida). The first 'B' in the logo version of the name was reversed on the band's promotional material from 1976 onwards and became the group's registered trademark. The first time the name is found written on paper is on a recording session sheet from the Metronome Studio in Stockholm, dated October 16, 1973. It was first written as "Björn, Benny, Agnetha & Frida", but was subsequently crossed out with "ABBA" written in large letters on top.

Abba - Super Troupers
The dvd is really a nice mixture of videos,concert performances,interviews new and old of the band, and the Mamma Mia performance. If you have ABBA'S other dvds you may find some of Super Troupers content found in their other dvds,but I found this Dvd more enjoyable than their other ones. Its nice how they group talks about their start,success,divorce and their current situation. All the interviews are new, and the finale has 3 of the members getting together to recieve a reward for 30 years of success.
