So I started this lens because I have a book coming out in a few weeks, a Victorian mystery novel called "A Beautiful Blue Death" published by St. Martin's.  I'm really intrigued by Squidoo, and I decided to throw this page up and see what happens....I'm also thinking about starting squidoo pages about some of my other passions, like great books and Arsenal football.  Anyway, welcome!  Even if you don't get the book I appreciate you dropping by.  You can also check out www.charles-finch.com for more info, excerpts, a blog, and lots of other stuff.

So I'm still getting used to Squidoo, but in the twelve hours I've been a member I've found it really interesting. Obviously there's a fair amount of junk floating around, but I really liked a couple of websites that included tips for writers....anyway, I'm not sure what this space is intended for, but I guess I'll use it to record my thoughts now and then. And to ask questions: can anybody tell me why my photos won't upload?
