- In the 1960's before the motorways were built, we used to drive through Abingdon on our way from Bournemouth to Rugby. I remember there used to be Barrage Balloons flying over the airfield. Excellent lens. I hope to expand my coverage of Southern England soon and to include this area. Will be sure to come back and link when I do.

- Ambingdon looks and sounds delightful! I would love to walk the streets with all that history and take my time enjoying the 7 Glories. If the streets turn to ice in the winter, I would be right at home, the same thing seems to happen in Fargo. I love the pictures you have chosen and am quite fascinated by the Monk. Excellent work!
