1) THE DEER HUNTER - Walken won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a Pennsylvania steel worker who enlists with several friends, is sent to fight in Vietnam and whose life is changed forever. The Russian roulette scene, where the friends are forced to play against each other, is a tour de force.2) PULP FICTION - Chris plays a small supporting role in this multiple storyline movie, but it's one of those gems of a part. He turns up in a flashback/dream, as the Army buddy of Bruce Willis' character's father. With all seriousness, he delivers a monologue about being a Vietnam POW and smuggling out the dead dad's watch via a bodily orifice, so that the son (Willis) could have it.
3) CATCH ME IF YOU CAN - Walken plays the father of Leonardo DeCaprio's character, a professional con man and imposter who passed millions of dollars worth of bad checks. Walken was nominated for another Best Supporting Actor Oscar for this role.

- lol I love Walken! He who needs no introduction. True Romance is a good one! Suicide Kings is another under-the-radar awesome Walken film that I totally recommend.
Did you notice that in the start of The Dead Zone, Chris is reading Sleepy Hollow to his students? Years later he brings the Headless Horseman to life in Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow. Full circle!
