Who is Dogbert?

Dogbert is Dilbert's anthropomorphic pet dog from the Dilbert comic strip. He is a megalomaniac; one of his dreams is to conquer the world and enslave all humans, and he has achieved this status several times through methods such as hypnosis and masquerading. However, he often quickly relinquishes his post due to boredom, someone foiling his chance, his conviction that people do not deserve to have him as leader due to the ongoing peace that results, or his desire to go nap on a soft pillow.

• DILBERT: Dilbert is Dogbert's human. He loves technology for the sake of technology. In fact, Dilbert loves technology more than people. He's got the social skills of a mousepad and he'd rather surf the Internet than Waikiki (which, considering the physique he developed after years of sitting in front of a PC screen, is a blessing).


• BOB THE DINOSAUR: One day Dilbert determined that it was impossible for all dinosaurs to be extinct. Lo and behold, Bob the Dinosaur appeared from behind the couch. Bob is dumb, cheerful and follows Dogbert's commands without question. Dinosaurs may no longer rule the Earth but Bob is the king of the wedgies.


• RATBERT Ratbert is a simpleminded optimist. He wants nothing more than to be loved, but he's doomed to ratdom which, despite his cheerfulness, makes him an unlikely candidate for affection. His resiliency enables him to continually be the butt of everyone's jokes.


• CATBERT Catbert is a typical cat, in the sense that he looks cute but he doesn't care if you live or die. As Human Resources Director at Dilbert's company, he teases employees before downsizing them.
