What is some design tips for a feng shui office space?
Answer:the doorway or directly facing it, rather than with your back to it.
**If there's more than one desk, place two on a diagonal facing towards the door and any others on a diagonal facing into the center of the room. They should not be placed in rows in a traditional classroom layout or back to back.
**If the doorways of offices that face each other across a hallway are not exactly aligned, place a mirror on the front of each door.
**If you face a partial wall or partition when entering an office, place a mirror on the partition.
**Soften jutting walls with plants. If you don't have a 'green thumb', artificial plants are just as effective as live ones.
**Break up dull walls with mirrors or paintings. The feng shui elements that are easiest to blend into an office decor are pictures and photographs. Look for pictures that represent the various aspects and display them in the appropriate areas of the room. Very obvious feng shui symbols may invite unwelcome questions from visitors or co-workers.

How can I incorporate Feng Shui into my interior home design?
I need help selecting Asian-inspired decor which manifests feng shui principles. Basically I am staring with nothing, a clean slate.Answer:
fengshui is system that has its own logic, and it is composed of theories, each contains calculations to maximize either good wealth or good health. decor that manifests fengshui principles, the closest i can think of is furnitures that are measured using the fengshui ruler, or the figurines (the dragon, chi ling, etc.), but these are just to enhance a particular space. it is not fengshui. fengshui is deciding where to place your main door, bedroom, living, kitchen, toilet, stairway/hallway, backdoor in your house, based on your birthdate or the flying stars of when you first moved in. and position/ location is different from direction at which their doors are directed (what degree). this is true fengshui. additionally, you can further enhance the space, by putting a water dragon (another difficult calculation; a water dragon is not really a dragon, but a water canal that has clean water going through it; the emphasis here is not the water canal, but the degree where the canal faces and moves). this is more auspicious, than putting the dragon statues.

How can I feng shui my room?
Okay, so I re-decorated my room about a year ago, but I've decided I want to feng shui my room. My walls are green and I have zebra print sheets, but you can't see them. So how can I feng shui my room without spending more than about $75? Furniture styles, colors, designs, layouts etc are all appreciated!Answer:
The most important feng shui element is order. First thing to do always is de-clutter. And, never anything dead in the room - dried flowers are always a no-no as the life force is gone.
The bedroom is the only room in the house that recommends pairs, pairs of lamps, pairs of nightstands, because this is the relationship room. Unless, of course, you don't want to be in a relationship.
You can read online about colors but there are some basics: green is money and life, growth: white is purity and health. Red is fire and energy.
Never have the foot of the bed facing the doorway. Mirrors in the bedroom are a bad idea. Use the mirror in the bathroom. Bedrooms are always best when kept calm, they're a place of rest.

Feng Shui and Mirrors?? Can you help me?
I have a 4 ft by 6 ft Mirror on the wall facing my front doors with a clear stained glass design in them, to reflect and add light. Is this reflecting the good luck or chi (I am not sure if that is what you call it) back out instead of allowing it into the house?
Answer:
in fengshui, 2 doors directly in line with each other are not good. it represents instant death or easily die. a mirror reflecting a door is the same thing as 2 doors in a straight line.
regarding the reflecting light... i haven't came across this. i guess it is okay. but the 2 doors directly in each other's path is a big bad thing.
the only solution is to remove the mirror.
in most chinese houses, it is a common knowledge that when you open the door to the toilet or the shower, you should not see yourself in front - meaning the mirror must not be in front of the door. because this means death. your mirror is the same with this. it does not matter whether yours is leading to the living and my example is to the toilet. they're both the same case.

If you have seen Feng Shui in designs, it calls for waterfalls, curving corners rather than sharp angles and?
even the placement of plants and mirrors. Design and placement are supposed to bring good luck to the business or residences. Interesting enough scientists have mentioned taht waterfalls provide negative ions and can make people feel better. Ihave seen a number of buildings adn residences including some banks with Feng Shui designs. I have to admit for my taste they often look nice and I do sence a more peaceful feeling. Any observations?Answer:
You'll notice A LOT of Feng Shui concepts used on buildings and business areas/countries that are predominantly chinese. From places like China Towns across the world to countries like Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and China: it's usage is all over the place and it's a matter of having the knowledge to notice it.
A lot of buildings using waterfalls or water features use it as a form of enhancing wealth or as a protective measure against shar chi (negative chi). Feng Shui is used for many different purposes, some for the basic positive psychological effect, some for advancement of their career, or businesses/banks that use it for wealth.
It's really interesting to note how many aspects of traditional Feng Shui can be 'translated' into modern western science and both sides will agree on its benefits. As you mentioned about waterfalls, the same could be said of trying to avoid shar chi (foul, negative) or si chi (stagnant, dying) in Feng Shui.
Modern research has shown that stagnant or recycled air will is detrimental overall to your health and wellbeing. This is an excellent question and observation you have put forth!
