Macs' Lensography

Life is often times referred to as being a journey, and mine has been no different. It began on July 12, 1967.

It has been a life filled with heartache and pain; joy and laughter. Whenever possible, I always tried to look for the laughter. It made getting through painful times so much easier.

Those who know me say that my life has been difficult. My response has always been, "Compared to what?"

It has been an adventure; one filled with ups and downs and I wouldn't change a thing.

Parenting Special Needs Children

They call me Mom

Being a parent taught me how to love unconditionally. Being the parent of three special needs children taught me perseverance.

Ultimately, I've learned that it is possible to love someone more than yourself.

Advocating For Special Needs Children

Our children are our future

Prior to becoming disabled, I was a Parent Advocate for children who were mentally disabled. My own children provided me with the experience I needed to help other parents.

It was the most rewarding job I ever had. It also provided me with experiences and opportunities I wouldn't have otherwise had.

Personal Challenges

The challenges we face in life molds the people we become/are. I've seen my fair share of challenges (haven't we all??). My life is different now, not any better or worse, just different.

There will always be times when I will grieve for the things I've lost; because of this disease, because of circumstances in general. Then there are the other times.

Times when I know there is a reason; that all of this serves some unknown purpose.

I'm Hooked On Crocheting

I first learned to crochet about 5 years ago. I find nothing is more rewarding than to have a beautiful hand-made item, and know it came from a ball of yarn and a hook.

Fantastic lensography - I like your lens collection and I love the way you structured the lensography. But (most importantly), I loved the peak behind the curtain :). I enjoyed reading about YOU yourself Tammi. Thanks for the lens.
