About me - Chuck

I was born in Louisville, Ky. I haven't had a chance to travel far, but I will someday. Currently live just outside of downtown, and I can usually see the tall buildings on my way home from work. I swear, the best omelets come from the Galt House; they make them right in front of you!

They've really expanded the place in the past few years. My old stomping grounds got a Kroger. Losing the Blockbuster though. <-- Saw that one coming. *Cough*netflix. I've been to the Yum Center and even saw Dane Cook do some standup. I got to meet the guy backstage too! Oh, and I can't forget the IHOP. Big Steak Omelet is the way to go, my friends.

I'm working as a Software Engineer for a midsize A/V Integrator. We do a lot of cool stuff, and I get to keep some of the toys in my office. After 4 years here, I'm probably not leaving.

Another perk is the nifty knowledge I gained regarding room control. I have a touchscreen at home with some light controls that need hooking up. The plan is to walk into my place, touch the screen, and the lights come on! Maybe after I write this. Ha!

Oh boy, just like you, I could go on and on about this. Where to start...

I'm a digital artist. Mostly cartoons, but I've been trying my hand at digital painting for over a year now. I've gotten better, but I'm nowhere near the level I want to be. DeviantArt hosts some of my stuff, and I have a little work sprinkled across the major stock image sites.

I've been a small business owner for about a year. It's made a little money, but there's so much room for growth. We carry A/V equipment and rubber ducks... what?!

One of my all-time goals is to become financially independent. I know, that's everybody's goal, right? My job pays okay, but who wants to work the rest of their life? Not this guy!

I really hope I can bring value to Squidoo, and the interwebz as a whole. I have a lot to say, and this seems like a great outlet. I can honestly imagine carrying my laptop everywhere with me so I can type up some spontaneous lenses... 'cept in the car. That's dangerous.
