A Quick Biography

I'm 43 year old wife, mom and grandma. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and doing my various hobbies including crafting and digital art.

Other things I enjoy are reading, listening to music and watching movies(Netflix is my best friend!). My tastes for all of those things vary widely; I don't think I could really pick a favorite genre for anything, though I tend more toward sci-fi & fantasy for movies, romance for books and oldies & classic rock for music.

A little more about me...

In my spare time I enjoy knitting, crochet, sewing/quilting. I've been knitting and crocheting for many years, but still consider myself a novice as far as sewing and quilting are concerned. I love to try new crafts and occasionally will do some tatting, rubber stamping or other crafts.

I also enjoy creating digital art, which I've been doing for a few years now. My main focus is kaleidoscopic art and fractal images. I've also been dabbling in a little amateur digital photography.

In addition to the free digital art on my blog, I also create digital art to sell on Zazzle products. My art there is created both from scratch and from digital photos, and fractal generating programs. If you've never heard of Zazzle.com, it's a must see. There are so many talented artists there! Check out my Zazzle Gallery to order products featuring my kaleidoscopic art and fractal images.

I truly am sorry to hear about your recent health issues. Lord knows I've had more than my share of them myself. I guess all you can do is the best you can to overcome or live somewhat peacefully with them and simply hope for the best. I don't know if this would help with your vertigo, but a few years back I experienced some vertigo and felt like my equilibrium was off. Turns out that I had a massive build up of ear wax which they were able to resolve for me fairly easily. It wasn't that I didn't clean my ears, but that q-tips sometimes do a better job of pushing wax into the ear than gettting it out. I don't mean to gross you out or anything.lol. But anyways, I wish you well and hope you will soon be able to get back to doing the things you love to do. Ciao!

Thanks to you both for visiting my lens and for the kind words! I'm having a great time with my art, and it gives me something positive to focus on. Using them for tea bag folding is a great idea, paperfacets. I'll definitely look into it! Thanks for the suggestion!
