Oprah Winfrey
When Oprah Winfrey came on the air as a daytime talkshow host of the Oprah show, nobody knew she was going to become such a powerful woman. Today Oprah has been on the air for years and years, and each year gets better, more gorgeous, and does more good!
Oprah's Angel Network cemented my admiration for her. It all started when she started collecting loose change, and matching that money to be used for good causes. That has spiraled, and the amount collected is staggering. She uses her own money to pay for her staff, so it doesn't come out of the funding. All of the Angel Network money goes to great causes. The best part is she shows you how that money is spent helping others on the "Oprah show". You aren't left wondering.
She has created a school for children in Africa, she has helped build homes for those who lost homes to Katrina, she has donated to so many different causes and organizations, and helped raise awareness for so many incredible causes, she's just been a mass of positive energy!

Loving Oprah
She shares her best moments and her worst moments with her viewers. I remember quite a few years ago the day I saw her come out on stage without make-up. She wanted to show us what it took, and what went on to make her "stage" ready. That moment helped me, and I'm sure millions of viewers feel better about themselves. See, I'm just like you she said, bags under her eyes, her skin tone uneven....she was letting us see her flaws, so we could understand we are all the same. Television "magic" makes her look a certain way. Self-esteem was raised a bunch all over the world the day she let us see she was a normal person, just like me and you. It made an impact, and that was years ago!
