At Pouch we make unique accessories and homewares from vintage and recycled material.

Our range includes not only bags, but belts, peg bags and bag dispensers too.

Due to the fact we use vintage fabric, many of our items are one-offs and the vast majority are limited edition.

Our products are robust, practical and very stylish.

Individually hand crafted and skillfully sewn to a high standard, you can be assured our handmade products have not been mass produced and nobody was exploited in making them.

Our ethos is to promote low impact, environmentally friendly, local production.

We love vintage fabric and sewing and wanted to create unique products which stood out from mass produced high street offerings. We are also passionate about encouraging people to use less plastic bags and make eco-friendly changes to their lifestyle.

We go through 150m plastic bags in the UK every week. They will take 500 years to degrade in landfill. They emit dangerous toxins into our soil and water systems. They give off methane gas, which contributes to global warming. They are a major litter problem and have a long lasting, damaging effect on our country's wildlife.

Made with 100% genuine vintage fabric, they are large enough to hold many carrier/grocery bags for recycling.
Hang from a hook in the kitchen, under the stairs, in the garage, garden shed or anywhere you need to grab a bag.

Pouch is proud to support the 'Buy Handmade' pledge. It is based on the idea of rejecting mass produced items made in sweat shops and sold in high street stores or large shopping malls. As the 'Buy Handmade' website states:

Our Mission:
As an Eco Etsy member, we are dedicated to educating, demonstrating, and promoting a more Eco way of life. Members will contribute in team sales, contests, monthly chats, share tips and tricks on how we can help promote a cleaner way of life, and help raise money to donate to charities and various organization that are also dedicated to Eco practices. Reuse packaging and encourage others to do the same. Share creative ways to reuse materials to use for packaging, envelopes, stuffing material, and wrapping materials. When it comes down to it, we are just a bunch of fun loving reusing, Etsy addicts who love to reduce, reuse and recycle, and talk about it with other too!
