A simple waffle recipe for your waffle maker
This is how to make waffles with a waffle maker. Actually if you want real waffles this is the only way because it's the waffle maker that makes those patterns on the dough that make waffles waffles.
What do you need:
4 ounces of all purpose flour,
4 ounces of whole-wheat flour,
one tablespoon of sugar,
2 teaspoons of baking powder,
some salt,
three eggs,
one and a half cup of milk,
and some vegetable oil.
And of course you will need a waffle maker. You can turn it on so it's nice hot and ready when your waffle batter is done.
There are just five easy steps!
1. Put all the dry ingredients in one bowl.
2. Put all the wet ingredients into another bowl and beat them.
3. Pour the wet stuff into the dry stuff and mix until there are no lumps (don't over mix it).
4. Take half cup of batter you made and pour it into the waffle maker. How long should you bake it? Some waffle makers tell you when waffle is done so just pay attention. Otherwise - when the steam stops coming out of the waffle maker waffles are done. It only takes a couple of minutes. Check a few times when you are making your fist waffle so you get a hang of it.
5. This is not a step, you are done!
How many waffles can I make this way? There is enough batter for around eight or nine, 9 inch sized waffles.
