Why I Love Abraham and Esther Hicks
Abraham has changed my life! Our thoughts create what we experience! What a cool and empowering concept!
You know how they say "Nothing is as important as that we feel good." Some of us probably feel like saying, what a self-centered concept. But think about it...
If you've been flying within the last, oh, twenty years or so, you've seen the flight attendants' safety presentation or the little movie, depending on plane. And what do they say when it comes to the oxygen masks... Make sure you have yours securely installed before helping anyone else. That's they exact key! What good would you be to anyone if you're dead? Or sick?
Also, doesn't life work better when we feel good? Just keep a diary for a week or two and write down how you feel every day (or multiple times a day) and how things are going at those times... Should make it glaringly obvious. Read on for some of my favorite tools...
My Favorite Abraham-Hicks Tools
I especially LOVE Abraham's techniques, or processes, as they usually call them! Such powerful stuff. Here are a few of my favorites:
Process One: The Placemat Process
What the heck is that? It's the process of writing down on one side of a big sheet of paper what you REALLY plan to do and writing on the other side of the paper what you want the Universe to do. You'll be surprised how much the Universe actually gets done while you're not looking.
Second Process: The working your way up the emotional scale process
Now how does that one work?: Easy! You can't jump from despair to joy in one fell swoop, so you're working your way up babystep by babystep. Sort of the stealth method. The miserable emotions don't have a chance because they don't see it coming -- coz it's so subtle!
the positive aspects process. That's the process of -- duh -- finding positive aspects in ANYTHING!
The manifestation box
Then there's also the process where you put things in the box and whatever is in the box IS. Hasn't worked too well for me yet, but then maybe I haven't been as confident as I need to be to make it work.
Meditation
This one rocks! My life changed practically on the day I started meditating. All I can say is -- I wish I had done that sooner, and I'll be meditating every day now!
