This drink was very famous among great names in history like Vincent Van Gogh, Ernest Hemmingway and Mark Twain. Absinthe is responsible for influencing their great works and inspiring them.
The prohibition of Absinthe began in 1920 after many distilleries used a lower grade alcohol level to produce the drink. This resulted in prohibition in some countries but by 1981 Europe revived the drink and it once again became popular in the club scene.
