    So glad I tripped over this lens! I'm a huge Anita Blake fan! Discovered these books a few summers ago and devoured them all in just a few weeks because I could NOT put them down. Great lens and I'm surprised they're so affordable for Kindle. I might have to snag the whole series for another summer of Anita's adventures!

    I've been meaning to read this series for a while now, the subject sounds like it's right down my alley (where vampires would hang out anyway haha). The mortal instruments is also a very good series that I would recommend checking out.

    I absolutely Love this series it's my favorite for sure. I know she "has" to be with so many wonderful men but I would of been with them even if i didn't have to guess i'm more like a vampire than a human. anyway love these books wish i could go live in there world.

    My fiance and I were at the comic book store and we found a couple of Anita Blake comics in the 25 cents bin. I was like "What's this??" and ended up looking them up online and found out that they were based on a book series. This intrigued me even further! I got the first book on Monday and read it all in one sitting. It's Wednesday right now and I'm already on the third book (one book a day!). I'm really enjoying the series thus far. :)

    Great lens. I love reading and I love Anita Bake. there are some great authors of fantasy/horror today and she was one of the leading authors. This is well written and I would like to link it to my reading group as it is will be one of the books up for discussion in June. Enjoyed my visit her. :)

    I love the Anita Blake i have read All then i just got done with Bullet it was good. can't wait till the next one comes out not for sure what to read now. but all her books are good. i didnt like the kids in the one but the book was good.

    Adore both the Meredith Gentry and the Anita Blake series of this authors books. Cannot get enough of them and she cannot write fast enough for me. Picked one of her books up by chance and the library and have been hooked ever since.

    i have noticed that some people think that after the first few of these books, it is all about sex. it isnt, yes there is some scenes but most is about the next big and bad thing coming after them. i like the fact that anita has faults she makes mistakes but she always protects her people that she has taken in. if some one hurts them, they have met their end. simple as that. there are so many dynamic charaters and you can tell who they are by how Hamliton describes them, now that is a great auther. but i kind of want merry and anita to meet.

    For the past four years I have probably read all of the Anita Blake books two or three times. I find these books to be extremely entertaining and Laurell K. Hamilton's way of describing her characters is very well done.

    I read a few of the Anita Blake books a couple of years ago and really enjoyed them. I've seen the comic books as well and have considered trying them out.

    This is a really great, comprehensive lens! I'm working on a series of author lenses now - I have had an LKH lens in my WIP for a couple years, but I probably will never get to it since I have lost interest in her books. I will probably go back and reread the series up to the point where it started to go downhill. I still love the original series - and the graphic novels are great.

    Wow, what a great lens. Really liked it. I myself have read up to book 13 Micah, but I must admit that I started as a huge fan, but I gave up after book 13. I think personally that it was getting a little bit to erotic for me :)

    I've seen Anita Blake novels in bookstores but I've never really had the interest. But reading through your lens, I might as well try reading the series. It seems interesting and worthwhile to read.

    i just got into lkh's anita blake series (at the recommendation of one of my friends), while i was lamenting the fact that i'd finished ALL the sookie stackhouse novels. thanks, steph! great books, i am on #10 and just started them a week ago!

    My sister recently turned me on to a book called "Bite" (highly recommend), a compilation of stories by Laurel K Hamilton, Charlaine Harris, Angela Knight and MaryJanice Davidson. This was her "cure" to stop me from rereading the Twilight books (which, mind you, I swore I would never read, but ended up with them in my hands-so be careful!)

    The book set me off exploring this genre (which until Twilight was new to me) and after devouring the Sookie Stackhouse series (gosh Eric is dreamy....I digress...) I am onto Angela Knight (Mageverse series) and next on the list is Laurell K Hamilton's Anita Blake series. Thank you so much for letting me know just what I'm in for and now I can't wait to start her series!

    I've never heard of these books but they sound pretty good. I like reading this type of thing, since I usually prefer fiction over non-fiction, unless it's history... but then it depends on the history lol. I enjoyed the read! 5*****

    This has been one of my topics of interest for a few years now. What's great about this lens is that there is info here that is completely new to me! I'll keep watching this lens with interest, looking forward to further updates. In my opinion a 5*lens.

    I have read all these books over the years. my favorite was the books with edward as the main contributor in the storyline. The latter books are betting to be 50% porn. I just liked them better with more bullets.

    I had not heard of this series before, so it was interesting to learn about a new series. I can't quite tell but the descriptions and book covers seem to hint at soft-porn content. Would these books be more PG or R-rated reading? I love a good exciting Vampire book, but I hate books that throw gratuitous sex and erotica in. (I hope this doesn't show up twice - I am having difficulty posting)

    I haven't read any of these books, but I think I will now that I've read your lens. I was first introduced to vampires with the story of Carmilla.I love vampire books! Anne Rice is my favorite, not only her vampire books, but her Sleeping Beauty series as well.
    Your lens is packed with info on the Anita Blake series. Thnx for such a great lens!

    I love Anita Blake. I haven't been able to read her books lately because I had a new baby boy in December but I've never found a series of books so captivating! I have this love/hate relationship with Richard. He needs to get over himself already! But I'm all about the strong, tall, dark and handsome (what girl isn't)

    I'm jealous I didn't think to do this lens myself. I don't think I would've done it justice like you have though. AWSOME job!

    I am a huge Laurell K Hamilton fan. The stories just keep me coming back for more and this is from someone who really is not into gore. The storyline is so good I look past the blood and body parts and can't wait to see what Anita does next.

    I swear it feels like she is not writing fast enough. I have enjoyed every book in the Anita Blake series, but I have really gotten into her Meredith Gentry novels as well. Great lens on an author that I only found out about a little over a year ago. I know she caters more to women in this romantic genre, but the preternatural, supernatural, and erotic action is enough to have even us guys enthralled.

    Their are quite a few good vampire/paranormal book series out at the moment, here are a few authors worth taking an interest in for thier works. Jennifer Rardin, P.C & Kristin Cast, Angela Knight, Charlaine Harris, Lori Handeland, Kim Harrison, Sherrily Kenyon, Stephenie Meyer, Kerrelyn Sparks, and of course Laurell K Hamilton. I personally started reading Anita Blake when Bk 9 - 'Obsidian Butterfly' came out, and since then have read the entire series before each new book release. By doing this way it is always fresh in my mind. I am pre-ordering my copy of skin trade asap, read the 1st chapter draft, fantastic as normal, just wish a few more chapters were available to read now.

    WOW! When I first started reading the books I had just finished a really good vampire sereies and starting this book was just alright. But when I got to the second book of Club Vampyre, Oh my gosh this is the best stuff I have ever read. I couldn't put it down. I love Anita and her bad assness. I can't get over how good these books are. I can't wait to get the rest. I will me a fan for life! Thanks for writing laurell hamilton ;)

    I picked up incubus dreams and fell in love with it! And new right than in there I had to have them all. Now im looking to buy the whole series, its gonna be tough but im gonna find a way to do it!

    I accidentally picked up another series by the author and fell in love with her writing.

    I found Anita by accident and now i am completly hooked so I know what you mean. I love living near the St Lois too so I can go to the wolf howls. I missed the stage performence of Dracula that Laurell hosted this year all well. Next year I am so at comic con. Love your page

Last count, I had over 800 books - and not one of them is a Laurell K Hamilton! I guess I'll have to get sharing. My fave authors at the moment would be Sherrilyn Kenyon and Christine Feehan.... 5*

    Great lens! I have read all the books and loved them all. Well most - some of middle books ran a little too close to soft porn (even for me) but I think she got the hint because the last few have been getting better. Even love her other series (Meredith Gentry). Am reading Swallowing Darkness now. Great author. Kim Harrison is another author that has a great series you should check out (if you already haven't) as well as Keri Arthur. From one fan to another - Kudos!

    The series is my fav. Vampire series ever!! If you like LKH's Anita Blake series you should read Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series. There are 3 books in the series the first being Kiss of Midnight; the second being Kiss of Crimson; the third is Midnight Rising.
