A Car Fulla Kids

Here's a lens for when you'll be in the car for hours. Your destination is the vacation. The Vista Cruiser is loaded so full the back end is kinda hunkered down. No dvd, no gameboys, no handheld anything except your trusty transistor radio with the cream colored earbud. MP3 what? - OK that's just how I remember it.

On the Road Again

Pass out the dramamine and encourage all passengers to use the facilities, this car won't be stopping for the next three hours. Sorry, no emergencies (just kidding). Keep your hands and feet in the vehicle at all times. No touching, pinching or purple nurpling of your siblings is allowed.

Why don't we play a game?

I have to admit that having a DVD player in the car playing cartoons would be a lifesaver - especially if everyone has their own headset. But I fall in the group of a dvd-less vehicle and every one of these ideas will help pass the time.

I suggest a small container to put all the loose stuff in. This will also serve as a great place to draw on. When I was growing up we used dad's old bootbox - oh yeah! He glued a stiff piece of cardboard under the lid for better support. Failing to share was a capital crime as well.

Make sure to bring a few of greater difficulty. Might even be a good way to spot the jeanyus in the family, lol!
