Accelerometer Games - A whole new game
Following the success of motion sensing technology on game consoles like the Nintendo Wii, several phones and handheld device makers are introducing accelerometers (or g-sensors) on their creations: the iPhone by Apple, the Omnia and the innov8 by Samsung, the Touch HD, Touch Pro and Touch Diamond by HTC, etc. and the list grows everyday. There are already several amazing games that take advantage of this technology so here are my recommendations on Samsung Omnia accelerometer games, the phone I own - but they will probably work on other accelerometer-equipped phones as well.

Marble Worlds 2
Rolling marbles through mazes and puzzles
Marble Worlds 2 is an accelerometer game developed by 4Pockets that provides you with excellent and addictive gameplay. On this game you control a marble throughout the isometric 3D scenarios of Marble Worlds while collecting gems and solving puzzles, tilting your Samsung Omnia to control the direction and speed as you go. There are a number of extra features that really take this game to the next level, namely, air blowers to float on, rebounders to bounce off extra fast, trampolines to bounce extra high, slippery ice, bombs and exploding blocks, portals to warp from one place to another, evil marbles that zap your strength, etc. to name just a few. Super Sid
PacMan upgraded
Like Marble Worlds 2 above, Super Sid is a Samsung Omnia accelerometer game developed by 4Pockets. For all the PacMan lovers out there, this one's for you. Super Sid recreates the classic game and enhances the concept with a lot of new interesting features. On Super Sid you control Sid, a robot whose job is to collect all the world's toxic waste and escape the security robots that try to stop him. You control Sid by tilting your Samsung Omnia to the side you want the robot to go, and remember to get the power boosters so Sid can battle the enemies! Resco Bubbles
Bubble bursting fun
Resco Bubbles is a Samsung Omnia accelerometer game developed by Resco and is really an amazing game. My favorite! It has a really simple concept, no fancy lands to explore and no enemies to dodge, only a metal ball on a table and some numbered bubbles to burst. Your Samsung Omnia's screen is the table that holds the ball and as you tilt it you change direction and speed of the little ball, trying to burst the bubbles sequentially. The most ingenious features are the different table surfaces that change the ball's behavior and the fact that the ball bounces on the walls causing the Omnia's vibrator to buzz, giving it a realistic feel!Resco Bubbles is also compatible with the Symbian-powered Samsung Omnia HD.
