Accounting Jobs Are On the Rise

In fact, there are a number of accounting degrees that are five-year programs that result in a masters business degree as well as a CPA designation. This can lead to higher earning potential; the top ten percent of accountants' median annual salary is $102,480.

If a person is thinking about accounting as a career, they should definitely have an affinity for math and numbers, as well as problem solving abilities. They will also need to have good communication skills; they will have to explain financial and accounting issues to others who do not have accounting backgrounds.
