Bridge the Gap in Philippine Education

Ranked #2,379 in Nonprofits, #479,334 overall

You can become the bridge.

In urban areas, there are 70-100 students congested in a classroom.
3-4 students either have to share desks intended for two.. or they just sit on the floor.
Students have to share among themselves textbooks of poor quality, if there are any.
There are no sufficient teaching materials such as charts, meter sticks, and the like.
Facilities in schools lack a library or enough toilets.

More than half of Filipino children are enrolled in these public schools.

That's why BRIDGE (BRIDging the Gap in Education) was created. It is a project designed to realize the Ateneo Center for Educational Development's (ACED) vision by providing an avenue to bring together various individuals and groups to help in developing the Philippine education system.
