For artist creating ACEO artcards, it's a great way to show original pieces to art collectors, seeing art live is always fantastic compared to browsing a magazinge or digitally on screen!

Art cards present a great opportunity to sell work to collectors at an affordable price as samples of artwork or miniature masterpieces in their own right.

ACEOS are always fun to make, promotionally, as a hobbyist or substituting thumbnail sketched to plan out a larger painting or experimenting..who knows, maybe the buyer was lucky enough to get the original layout for your next masterpiece!
Also not forgetting ATCs which are great to trade with fellow artists :)

Personally I love creating them when I can between larger artwork and collecting them too. My ACEOs usually spring from a spontaneous idea that's been lurking, catching a glimpse of it I have to run and sketch down a thumbnail to capture it.. It's easy to get lost in painting an ACEO as much as a larger painting so the miniature becomes a polished piece.
