1. Low Pricetag
For the price, nothing beats this! The price can't be beaten for similar models. It's priced around $220 to $250. As of this writing, it is currently on sale for $219 at Newegg


2. Big Monitor
The size is great! Simply huge and awesome. Screen is very large and clear. It takes up very little space for a 22 inch LCD monitor.

3. Greater Viewing Angle
A 22 inch LCD monitor that looks like it's a 24 inch monitor for viewable area.

4. Better Color Rendering
The colors look fantastic. Colors are vivid. It's brighter and has better resolution.

5. Light Weight
It is half the weight of a 19 inch CRT monitor.

6. User Friendly Navigation Panel
The OSD menu is pretty easy to navigate, once you play with it for a few minutes.

7. Adjustable Vertical Angle
The stand seems sturdy. The tilt of the screen is easy to adjust the picture angle.

3 Things That I Don't Like About Acer al2216wbd LCD Monitor 

Well, there's no perfect monitor...

1. Occasional Dead Pixels
While many customers raved about having no dead pixels at all, there were some Acer AL2216Wbd LCD monitors sold that had dead pixels. Although this is always a possibility when dealing with LCD monitors, it is still rather disappointing to buy something new and discover this.

2. Ugly Vertical Viewing Angle
Actually there is no viewing "angle", because that would imply that the screen's value and hue are uniform at some point. There is an obvious HSV gradation from top to bottom.

3. Too Much Backlight Bleed
The back light bleeds, very noticeably, a full two inches from the top, and about 4 from the bottom.

Acer AL2216Wbd Black 22" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor with HDCP support is best suited for gamers and for ordinary computer needs. However, it is not recommended for professionals, particularly graphic designers.

You won't regret this purchase if you're currently using anything 19" or smaller. Great snag if you are looking for a big monitor with a low pricetag. Great value and solid performers for everyday use and gaming.
