Acer Aspire AS5349-2899 Review

Even though the Acer Aspire AS5349-2899 is on the larger scale of things with the 15.6 inch screen, it doesn't look huge. This is probably due to the rounded edges and chic black finish that the notebook has. In addition to the look, the notebook weighs in at about 5.7 lbs / 2.4 kg(system unit only).

Acer was definitely taking advantage of this new function in Windows 7 operating system. It's nice to be able to move around the screen and zoom in and zoom out using just your fingers! There's also an option for HDMI out and the on-board Intel Graphics Card does a decent job decoding video and rendering games. While not as quick as a dedicated graphics card, to most users, there will be no noticeable difference.

I've been using this Acer Aspire AS5349-2899 laptop for a few days and I thought it's a winner. It has great screen, speakers, keyboard, webcam, and very easy to set up. Windows 7 Home Premium operating system is a snap to use. The laptop comes with 2GB of DDR3 memory, 320GB SATA Hard Drive, Intel HD Graphics with 128MB of dedicated system memory, and 8X DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive. What it does offer that a lot of others don't is USB 3.0 (most will have only 2.0).It's really impressive to find that in a laptop so cheap.
