Acharya S (D. M. Murdock)

Acharya S is a scholar classically educated in archaeology, history, mythology and languages.

Acharya specializes in religion and mythology, critiquing and comparing them, and providing unique insights into their origins. Although born into a Christian (Congregationalist Protestant) family, Acharya does not subscribe to any particular religion, nor is she a hardcore "atheist."

She is the author of the controversial books:

1. The Christ Conspiracy: The Greatest Story Ever Sold.

2. Suns of God: Krishna, Buddha and Christ Unveiled.

3. Who was Jesus?

4. The Gospel According to Acharya S.

She is also associated with the reprint and resurfacing of the following book:

'The World's Sixteen Crucified Saviours Christianity Before Christ' by Kersey Graves.

Her views are also believed to to be inspiration for the counter culture film 'Zeitgeist the movie', which has a beginning chapter on religion entitled 'The Greatest Story Ever Told'.

Among other less flattering things, Acharya S has been called "the ranking religious philosopher of our era" and "the voice of reason amidst global chaos."

Wikipedia: Acharya S at a glance

Acharya S is the pen name of D. M. Murdock. A proponent of the Jesus myth hypothesis, she has authored two books and operates a website named "Truth be Known". Her contention is that all religion is founded in earlier myth and that the characters depicted in Christianity are the result of the plagiarizing of those myths to unify the Roman State. Her views are also believed to to be inspiration for the counter culture film 'Zeitgeist the movie', which has a beginning chapter on religion entitled 'The Greatest Story Ever Told'.

An article by Acharya S - "Abusing women is not religion."

from 'The Gospel according to Acharya S'

There are certain buttheads - subhuman cretins, really - on this planet of vast dementia who believe that subjugating, enslaving and torturing human beings who happen to be in female bodies has something to do with "religion."

These morons like to justify their despicable and disgusting behavior by claiming it to be laid down by some idiotic god monster who is somehow pleased by this wanton abuse of "his" creatures. In addition to the pervasive and hideous brainwashing and psychological, spiritual and emotional abuse forced upon women that they are "inferior" and must serve basically as servants and slaves to their husband-masters, a number of cultures somehow finds it "godly" or "righteous" to physically torture women.

Agree, Christ-Myther. The video listed by the 'she was debunked' person does not come across as a reliable source of information. Its quite evident from the biased tone of the speaker. He's far from objective. And does not give any evidence of whatever he represents, does not even try.

He talks like a 'know it all', hoping that people will fall for what he says because of his confident demeanour, and take what he says 'in faith'.

    Responding to "She was debunked"

The Anti-Zeitgeist/Anti-Acharya *STALKERS FOR JESUS* CULT who go after her to *HARASS* & *SMEAR* a single female author should be ashamed of themselves. Where's their *OBJECTIVE* videos about the "Jesus Challenge"? Or a "Muhammad Challenge"?

Maybe it's time for something other than *INTELLECTUAL DISHONESTY* and time to actually study her works for a change? Ever think of that one? It's interesting how those who viciously attack her the most & loudest tend also to be the same people who've never studied her works.

"Christ in Egypt: The Horus-Jesus Connection" contains nearly 2,400 footnote/citations to primary sources and expert commentary on them, with over 900 scholarly journals, books & articles in the bibliography. Study it.

Christian fanatics & irrationally skeptical atheists would be better off spending their time addressing radical Islam - they clearly don't understand Acharya's work on Astrotheology.

Having just finished Acharya S's outstanding book, The Christ Conspiracy, I think the author might benefit from reading Thor Heyerdahl's books on his travels in ancient ships. This should give a pretty good idea of how the religious myths of the middle east got into the Americas and the pacific islands. Hyerdahl found evidence that ancient navigators from the near east crossed the Atlantic, and landed in Mexico (bearded stone statues, and local folklore that their leaders came from the east and went to the south); Peruvian natives' stories that their leader came from the north and went to the west, and Easter island stories that one of their two tribes came from the east. He found carved depictions of two masted ships in Easter island and in Peru, also, he found carved stone heads on other Pacific islands. Why would people living in forests ignore beautiful building material (wood) and use difficult material (stone) unless their leaders mandated it?

White Powder of Gold - Part III
The power of LIGHT and Vibration Frequencies

Are we moving beyond modern medicine into the realms of the ancient gods?

I recently did a presentation in Johannesburg where one of the ladies told me about her attendance of a David Hudson talk in 2002. What I was told confirmed my theories about a control group of powerful individuals - human or more advanced, I don't know - that keep a close eye on great discoveries and scientific breakthroughs by ordinary people. It seems very clear that David Hudson has been targeted by this higher authority in various ways, to the point that he has taken his work and research underground. And obviously this immediately smacks of 'conspiracy' theory. Has Hudson discovered something that a mere mortal should not be privy to? Has he inadvertently found the source of higher knowledge that our c reators are trying to keep from us%u2026 their slave species?.........
