How to deal with Acid Reflux and GERD
Acid reflux disease, or GERD, is a very painful and dangerous condition if left untreated. The number one symptom of this disease is chronic, painful heartburn that typcially occurs after you eat. The main difference between regular heartburn and Acid Reflux is that in Acid Reflux, the stomach acids breach the upper sphincter of your stomach and enter into the esophagus, causing damage to the surrounding tissue.
Currently, there is no cure for acid reflux or GERD, however, there are many different ways to treat the disease, most of which do not even require you to go to the doctor.
