You don't have to suffer with a low self-esteem and lose your confidence though. There are many ways to acne control for skin. Follow the acne care skin treatment tips in this lens and you may soon say bye-bye to those zits.
Acne Care Skin Treatment Tips
Do's and Don'ts of Acne Skin Care
- Do wash your skin twice a day in the morning and evening using a mild organic cleanser and warm water. It will help remove the excessive oily secretion of your skin glands that blocks the skin pores and causes acne.
- Do wash your hair regularly. It removes excess oil and dirt in the hair and so prevent causing acne should it come in contact with the skin.
- Do drink lots of water. Water hydrates your skin and carry waste out of your body. Your acne condition will improve with the increased water intake.
- Don't use strong detergent soaps. A strong soap will irritate your skin and worsen your acne problems.
- Don't scrub your skin when washing. Too much scrubbing can aggravate acne and also open up blemishes.
- Don't squeeze or pinch zits. It can lead to scarring and may also cause the blemishes to spread, infecting more areas.
- For men: Do use a right razor for shaving. Comfort and safety is important when you have acne. Shaving lightly with a sharp blade helps avoid cuts and rupturing pimples.
- For ladies: Do use oil free natural cosmetic products. Regular cosmetic products normally contain fatty acids that are harmful to acne affected skin.
