Acne Treatment Reviews

It's a well known fact that you have to be extremely cautious before using any sort of so-called 'cure' especially when it comes to facial ailments and we've created this special section of the site to advise on how clear up your acne naturally without having to buy or risk using expensive skin medication.

We researched 25 of the most popular 'acne relief' products although the majority turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. According to the people we spoke to, some of the alternative methods found in two online books in particular were far more effective than the usual prescription medication that your doctors will prescribe.

The 3 sites we've listed below were the best ones we found. They're all original and more importantly were produced by leading experts in the acne field.

Acne Free In 3 Days Review

Acne Free In 3 Days has taken the web by storm recently and over 25,000 copies of this eBook have been sold in the past six months.

The question is - does it work? Well, the author Chris Gibson seemed to think so and at the start of the ebook he recalls his earlier life experiences with acne and how he has been battling it since school days.

He then goes on to reveal how he discovered a way to clear it in just a few days and he shows you precisely how you can too.

We obviously can't disclose the methods he uses but they are natural and seemed to be great alternatives to common medicine.

We spoke to 9 people who had tried his remedies. Six from the US and three from the UK and they all had great success with his program although it took more like 7 to 10 days, rather than three for their acne to begin to clear.

We do believe that this ebook will drastically help your acne by cleansing the areas which are responsible for causing it and if you are fed up with enduring countless doctor and therapist visits you should certainly check this out.

1 Day Acne Cure Review

The 1 Day Acne Cure, even though we enjoyed the read, was no where near as comprehensive as the other two products we've already mentioned.

Having said that, it was far superior than the majority of publications we read so it is certainly worth a quick mention even though we recommend you try one of the others (notably Acne Free In 3 Days) if you want to quick fix.

In short, the ebook covers aspects of acne treatment other than just diet and certainly and had some interesting ideas. It was also well written.

However, we really do think that the other will be far more beneficial in the long run.

Acne No More Review

Acne No More is an extensive read which contains over 200 pages of great content and like Chris Gibson's book it focuses solely on clearing your acne using alternative or holistic methods rather than prescription drugs.

The author, Mike Walden is a certified nutritionist and health consultant and many describe Mike's Acne No More publication as being the "Acne Bible."

It is quite simply one of the most comprehensive, complete, and precise guides to acne freedom you will ever read and the only reason why we've scored it marginally lower than 'Acne Free' is because we thought Chris's book was better laid out and easier to follow.

Acne No More not only thoroughly discusses the lies, myths and fallacies surrounding a very confusing subject, it is simply the most detailed book about acne, blackheads, and hormonal health and inner balance ever written.

So we confidently feel that this program will be successful for almost all types of acne.

Treating Your Acne At Home

To treat your acne, you may use non-prescription medicated soaps, lotions, creams of gels. Products that can used as home treatment for acne includes benzoyl peroxide, alpha-hydroxy acid, salicylic acid and tea tree oil can kill bacteria, unclog the pores and dry up blemishes.

Before you apply any of these products on your skin, make sure that you read the labels of these products careful and follow the instructions for their applications strictly. Note that although these products are relatively safe on your skin, you may suffer from some unwanted side effects if you do not use them right.

Acne Treatment Method: Keeping Your Skin Clear

When it comes to home treatment for acne, keeping your skin clean is very important. You need to wash your face and other affected areas of your skin with clean water and mild soap once or twice in a day. To gently cleanse the affected are of your skin, just splash it gently with clean water. Do not use any alcohol based products to clean you face because this can cause irritations on the affected area. Furthermore, when washing your skin, do not rub the after area.

Do not squeeze pimples or acne because this could lead to infections and possible scarring. Always remember that when it comes to home treatment for acne, your goal should be to ease your discomforts and not to harm on your skin. After washing the affected areas of your skin, dry that area gently with clean soft towels. When drying your face and other affected areas of your skin, take care not to press or rub these areas. Just gently pat these affected areas gently with the towel.

To help prevent any flare-ups on your skin, avoid using milky cleansers and cosmetic products that contain oils. Note that oil can further clog up your pores and will cause more irritations. In fact, it would be better for you to without make-up until such time when the inflammations on your face have all cleared up. If you must apply make up, consult a dermatologist first as to which types of make-up you should use. Do not just put on anything on your face if you do not want to end up with more flare-ups than before.
