Proactiv claims it's good for you regardless of your age, skin type or the severity of your acne. It further claims to eliminate bacteria in the pores, unclogs pores and prevents future occurrences of acne. It's a set of three products.

Proactiv does these three. But the following are the things that will help you compare it with the other two.

First, it is not good for busy people because the set of three products to apply on the face will really take time.

Second the product contains Benzoyl Peroxide which is actually a very strong bleaching chemical. It is very strong that it takes the top layer of the skin and makes it vulnerable to sunburn and premature aging.

And last, it becomes expensive because you cannot stop for using it. Acne might reoccur even after it has worked.

Laser treatment kills acne causing bacteria and burns dead skin and tissue encouraging the growth of new skin. But again, bacteria is not the only factor associated with acne. Plus it is expensive and not fully developed yet.
