While searching for an Acne Solution, make sure you aren't conned into some idiot telling you he has this ridiculous miracle cure by rubbing a banana on your face or something. I have fallen for some ridiculous"Acne Solutions" claims trying to get ride of my acne.

Research has shown Acne typically affects children and young adults most commonly in the ages between 11-30. Although rare some adults do get acne all the way into their 40's and 50's

I can't begin to even tell you how many different acne solutions I've heard, you would be blown away by some of the crap people come up with just to try and sell you something.

I will talk mostly on the big acne solution Myths you've probably heard.

#1)-- Personal Hygiene --
Although It can cause a dirty appearance Hygiene has nothing to do with acne. The only thing that can be related is if you already have acne, it can make it worse by having poor hygiene.

#2)-- Caused by diet --
Extensive studies have shown there is no connection between diet and acne. In other words french fries, pizza, chocolate have no effect on whether or not you get acne.

#3)-- Acne is caused by stress --
Again there is no proof at all that acne is caused by stress. The only thing that can be related is if you get a prescription for stress and that prescription causes you to break out.

#4)-- You have to let it take its course --
There are different ways to clear up acne much faster than you would think. There is no reason should have to endure acne or get any type of acne scars.

When I was first looking for an acne solution I was a bit upset of the worthless information I kept finding. I found that if you search hard enough you will eventually find the right solution. It took me quite a bit of time and money to find a good one.
