I have 2 acoustic guitars that I use. An Adamas W597 that I use when I play amplified(with a Band) and a 1979 Martin D-35 when I play acoustic. I am an acoustic guitar enthusiast. I play one lots more than I do my "63 re-issue Fender Stratocaster. The sound and feel of an acoustic is awesome. You don't need pedal effects to make them sound better. Pick one you like and let it become part of your body. Play it enough and it will.

I agree, acoustic guitars are something else, seeing how I'm more good at the electric guitar.

This is awesome. True, acoustic guitars are really above the electric guitars. I've been playing an acoustic guitar since I was, 6 or 7, and it's really harder to learn. But the thing is, once you've learn the technical aspects, you'll learn to feel the music coming out of the instrument. Really nice, acoustic guitars are, but the best-sounding acoustic guitars, I believe, are the vintage ones. Visit my Vintage Acoustic Guitar blog for some info.

It is wonderful to be around people that appreciate the craftsmanship of the instrument and how that translates to the sound quality. You should check out Maton guitars in Australia, they make beautiful custom acoustic guitars.
