Looking for some new acoustic music?
I have started this page to help other acoustic music fans weed out the fluff and introduce you to some new artists worth listening too. I pick artists based on the wow factor. Someone who hits me emotionally right off the bat with great lyrics, musicality, and tone. The list will change accordingly to the new artists I find worth highlighting. Thanks for visiting.
MWard

I came across MWard's page a few days ago and became hooked on his songwriting. You may have already come across him as he is gaining exposure quickly. He has a great presence to his voice that is lazy and crisp. His lyrics are well crafted and are reminiscent of Dylan or Cash. Check out his site at www.mwardmusic.com The White Buffalo

The white buffalo is making his presence well known across the U.S right now. His unique voice puts you into a backwoods bar while his lyrics and passion draw you in. His tune Love Song 1 is a perfect tune for a first listen. Check his music out at www.myspace.com/thewhitebuffalo The Donnis Trio

I came across The Donnis Trio at www.radioparadise.com which if you haven't checked out yet has a great playlist. Their song "tip of the tongue" is played there frequently. It has a very cool vibe to it with a very relaxed vocal and a well written lyric/melody. Check them out at www.myspace.com/donnistrio Anya Marina

You may have heard Anya Marina on a TV show already and not have realized it. As a radio dj/musician in San Diego, her music is spreading fast across the country. She has a lovely voice that lets you peer into her soul. I recommend you give a listen to her song "Not a through street" on her myspace page www.myspace.com/anyamarina Greg Laswell

Greg Laswell has a way of writing and production that leaves an imprint on your first listen. His melancholy and spirit filled "Saint Theresa Says" dives deep into dark but brilliant resonance with lyrics to match. Reader Feedback
