Keith Urban, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum and Wynonna Judd among country singers featured in Act of Valor soundtrack
The "Act of Valor" soundtrack album featuring songs by country artists Keith Urban, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Jake Owen, Trace Adkins, Lori McKenna, Montgomery Gentry, Josh Kelley, Hunter Hayes and Wynonna Judd was released on February 21, 2012 and is available on Amazon and iTunes. You can listen to audio samples on the iTunes site.
A second soundtrack album featuring the original score by film composer Nathan Furst's (Movin' In, Mask Maker) was also released on the same date. For audio clips and to order the album, visit Amazon.
Snow Patrol's "When Lightning Strike" from their album "A Hundred Million Suns" which was used in the trailers is not included in either album.
"Act of Valor" is Mike McCoy and Scott Waugh's first feature length film directorial effort and stars Alex Veadov, Roselyn Sanchez, Nestor Serrano. Also in the cast lineup are Aurelius DiBarsanti, Timothy Gibbs, Carla Jimenez, Drea Casrto and Marc Margulies.
The film's plot follows a elite team of Navy SEALs who go on a covert operation in Yugoslavia to rescue a kidnapped CIA agent, while also taking down terrorists who aim to strike America.
