::TAKE ACTION
E-Actions for the Jersey Grrl
Some of these actions are for New Jersey, some for the whole country. One email from you is worth ten people who feel that way, vote that way, and didn't send an email. You know that legislators actually have staff that count this stuph to calculate support in their districts??

- Salesforce Free for Non-Profits
- Salesforce committs a certain amount of money every year to giving non-profits the tools to success. Their award winning kick butt Customer Relations Management softward, which rivals donor management software like Raisers Edge and DonorPerfect, is free for 501c3's.
- BaseCamp
- Basecamp provides free (and more moderately priced packages) tools to creating an online space for your activists to get organized. Its secure, and has to do lists that can be assigned, milestones, and group calendars. Its like a fisher price version of Microsoft Sharepoint or Groove.
- Democracy In Action
- I don't even know why PPFA and NARAL pay a gazillion dollars for GetActive anymore. The best 3rd party vendor for E-activism has got to DIA: Democracy in Action. For a fraction of the cost of GetActive, I can implement contact your legislator, letters to the editor, blogging, online fundraising, and much more at a decent cost and a huge payback. Just the customization possibilities make it worth it!
- Rollyo: When you want to search Your kinds of things.
- Tired of searching past xxx whenever you are looking for information on lesbian history? Try this: Create your own search roll by telling Rollyo what sites you want to limit your search to. Embed the sucker on your site, or put it in your firefox browser. Search your blogs only, or those of the organizations you love. A total must have.

Turnpike Feminist::Jersey Grrl in a Red State World
I am usually the youngest activist at the progressive leaders table. I muse about jersey activism, 2ndwave v. 3rd wave conflict, and random acts of right-wing rediculousness.
