GET YOUR CHILDS ATTENTION!!!
Toddlers are tricky, they've grown enough to have their own ideas and wants, but their bodies and emotions haven't kept pace. There are multitudes of activities for toddler that you can do with your child. Each child is a new and active learner.
In the early formative years of their life, toddlers learn different aspects of the whole new world through his bumps, falls, discoveries, relationship and other activities. While toddlers are picking any object they are developing an image of what the object looks like and try to discover other essentials of that particular object. These discoveries become part of their inquiring mind and stimulate their drive toward mastery and accomplishment. I have put together a few great ideas for their inquiring minds.
I have a 2 year old an have finally got the potty training out the way, at least for me that was our biggest achievement yet. now that im not so afraid she will wet herself everywhere we go, we have ventured out into the world, but the truth is i don't always have the means to take her to play cares or what have you. now im looking for other alternatives an have found you can have just as much fun with your little one right at home. If you like my ideas please like this lens an tell your friends about it.

Finger painting!

Finger painting can provide a wonderful sensory and artistic experience for toddlers.
Toddlers enjoy getting messy and experimenting with art projects. Finger painting is a wonderful activity for curious toddlers and will help them to express their own creativity. Finger painting can be messy but a little preparation can make it stress-free for toddlers and their parents.
Toddlers will love finger painting with nothing more than paints and paper. You can enhance their experience by providing craft sticks, textured rollers, and other craft supplies that they can easily incorporate into their art work. Be sure and choose materials that have no small grooves for paint to get stuck in. Household items such as empty paper towel holders and old toothbrushes make a wonderful addition to your toddler's art experience as well.
Toddlers need to be supervised carefully while they paint to make sure that they do not try and put any paint in their mouths or accidentally get any paint in their eyes. Paint will wash out of hair fairly easily if your toddler gets some paint on her hair while she is playing, but you will need to be careful that the paint does not drip into her eyes as you are washing it out

PLAY AND LEARN
Let your child learn while they play!
activities that incorporate learning while your children are having fun.

NUMBERS HUNT

We all know how toddlers love to find things...so here's a fun toddler hunt where they can find some colors while learning their numbers! Print out the sheets of numbers for what ever numbers you are trying to teach your toddler. Cut them out and glue them on a sheet of colored construction paper. (So have all 1-6 on one color, then 7-12 on another color). Then if you have it, put some contact paper over the whole sheet so that you can use them over and over. Then cut them into cards (see above). Now hide them (in obvious places) so that your toddler can wander around the room and find them. The different colors will help her find them. This way after you find them all you can have your toddler put them in piles with matching colors. Then you can take the number from a color group and put them in order!
SUPPLIES NEEDED
- print out the sheets of numbers
- scissors ( adult use only)
- colored construction paper
- contact paper
- glue
- appetite for having fun!
TIPS/SUGGESTIONS
- Let your toddler hide them around the room for you to find!
- Be sure to talk about the colors your toddler finds and what keep repeating what number is on the back to your toddler can learn the numbers.

hand print turkeys
HAND PRINT TURKEYS
This project is a little messy, but even toddlers can successfully make hand print turkeys.
You will need some white paper and some brown paint.
Pour some paint one a small plate.
Have your child place their hand in the brown paint. Be sure that the whole palm of the hand is covered with paint.
Then help your child press their hand onto a piece of paper.
Let dry. Then using a thin black marker, add facial features to the thumb or a head and add legs and feet for the turkey.
