Acts of Kindness are Appreciated!

Don't you love being on the receiving end of acts of kindness? Simple acts of caring can make your day! They can encourage, inspire, support and uplift.

Being a giver of acts of kindness is also pretty incredible! It feels just as good to offer the encouragement, inspiration, support and uplifting.

This lens is about both receiving and giving kindness.

Jessica Barnhart has issued a challenge to people who use Squidoo. She points out that Squidoo is a place of giving to one another . . . and she's right. She'd like to see users paying that kindness forward and states, "Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to write a pay-it-forward lens about three other lensmasters that you admire."

This is my lens in response to that challenge - - it's me giving kindness to several people who showed it to me. The ones I've chosen to feature are fellow RocketMoms but I also know them through Giant Squid.

When I started thinking about this challenge, I had more than 3 people on my list! Actually, they all appear on this lens in some way. But I was able to choose 3 to feature who stood out for various reasons. They are MiMi (GrowWear), Crystal (luvmyludwig) and Alison (everythingmouse). Thanks to all of you!

MiMi (GrowWear)

MiMi has an incredibly giving heart. She's constantly working to promote excellent lenses on Squidoo through her blog, where she has featured me a couple of times. She takes the time to visit lenses, comment, encourage and bless. She creates lenses that inspire (you can see some below). And she willingly offers help in spite of her busy schedule. She has been a positive influence in my Squidoo life and I appreciate and admire what she does and who she is. Thanks, MiMi!

Sometimes all you can do is say, "Wow." Crystal is amazing. She's kind, generous, caring, loving, passionate, direct and very, very busy! Crystal has a giving, encouraging and mentoring nature. She encourages people through comments on their lenses, blessings and lensrolls. She mentors people through all her work in various Ning groups, including Giant Squid. She has done so much for me in terms of encouragement. She even used my Squidoo tips lens series in one of her Ning groups. Thanks, Crystal!

I've learned so much from Alison in terms of keywords, making great lenses and making money on Squidoo. She's an incredible teacher in these areas and works hard to help people out in RocketMoms and Giant Squid. Can't Leave Out These Amazing RocketMoms!

I mentioned earlier that there were more than 3 people on my list. These 3 amazing women are a few of them. Jessica (j_barnhart4) is the one who created the challenge that inspired me to write this lens. Bonnie (bdkz) is our amazing RocketMoms coordinator and leader who does so much to help every RocketMom.
