    The Acumen Fund impacts so many lives globally. In my community we have the "Beaded Treasures Project" that gives local refugee women a chance at becoming independent businesswomen, utilizing a skill many arrive in America with-crafting jewelry.
    The project is based on Bangladesh-born professor of economics, Muhammad Yunus who won the Noble Peace Prize for his work s a micro-credit pioneer, or in other words, a banker to the poor.

    Jacqueline Novogratz's video was worth hearing again, and again. Society is built of individuals, as individuals we decide how to balance our lives so as to effect the balance of other's lives. Listen to her voice, the satisfaction that comes from the sweet taste of giving flows through her presentation. Jacqueline has made choices so that other's can make choices.
