Adam's Letter - A cry for help from a lonely teen
Adam Krieger was an average student just trying to get by. More than half his classmates never knew his name, but he knew them all. Every wrong ever done to him was made public for all to see when he posted his suicide note on a website.
"Adam's Letter" is a fictional play by John Cosper. It deals with teen suicide, depression, sex, drugs, peer pressure, pregnancy, but most of all it cries out for what Adam needed most: love.
"Adam's Legacy" is a companion play that zooms in on one student impacted by Adam and how it changed her family.
These plays can be performed together or separate in schools, churches, or where ever you can find a stage. They are also available for filmmakers, and both scripts are totally free.
Adam's Song by Blink 182
A Teen's (Ficticious) Suicide Letter
READ MY DESCRIPTION****** So it turns out the whole Adam' Song was about Adam Krieger is completely false. There is no connection. www.adamsletter.com was recently updated to make it clear. However, the whole message behind this stands. This note is written beautifully and in such a way that we might be able to understand a small portion of what is going on inside the minds of these types of people and possibly save some lives. ****But what I really do not like about all this .....if this (a SINGLE person's) note was real, it would have more of an impact on people. But seeing a fake note and only reading statistics of literally THOUSANDS who take their life away every day because of relatively the same problems, we do not flinch. What has become of ourselves? We are so unmotivated and stone-cold. We live in a society where showing visible emotion is seen as one being weak. We're destroying ourselves. This is how the world ends...

- Even though Adam may be a fictional character,my theory of the play is a message telling other people to not fall into the thought of suicide or it's not too late for other teens to not give into peer pressure

- This will effect us in ways unimaginably. This is why they say take action. This is why they say help the cause.Well, this is really common to other teens, kids,or even adults.Bullies are the ones who wants to make us take action.Bullies are the ones who began to give the thoughts to other beings who were harassed and abused. And in this way we should never be intimidated by those who even give us the thoughts of suicide.Even if you are intimidated, let your closest friend know, your family know,or even teachers know.If there is doubtfully no response, you should never let anyone get to you.

- Adam's letter mostly broke me into to tears just reading the letter. Its sad that a boy that got abused so much that he killed himself. The bullies of Adam Krieger should realize people just like them causes these problems.Even though I never knew Adam, the letter that he wrote is really sad indeed.NOBODY should get abused that much. The bullies that are out there should just get a life and stop taking their anger out on inoccent victims of suicide or depression. If only there was something to stop this problem.SUICIDE IS NO LAUGHING MATTER! So all the victims of bullies,we should pay contribute to those who were lost in the cause of suicide! Take action

- I know how he feels, sometimes, but I just dont feel liked but
I dont think it would ever lead to suicide, I cut a bit but it wasnt on purpose
or because I wanted to die I just wanted to know how it felt to do it.
So I did and I guess I have to break the habbit before it gets to serious cause
I did it yesterday as a like a u know just to see sorta thing
and I did it again in Science today for no reason what so ever so Im deffinatly breaking the habbit
before it gets to serious,
Im sorry for all those who never
seem to feel wanted like poor Adam here
but life wasnt suppose to be easy
no one ever said it was, people are jerks and other words
I choose not to mention but sucide at that age
just hasnt givin yourself enough time to live
to see were this world can go and what people may do even though it may not be mutch now give yourself time just to expeirnce wat can be and what should be
The path less traveled by even has its own bumps
