Add Pictures to Your Squidoo Lens With Allposters and Zazzle

Ranked #753 in Squidoo Community, #84,010 overall

With Pictures from Zazzle You Can Earn Affiliate Sales for Yourself and Zazzle Sales for Your Fellow Lensmasters

There are two excellent sources of pictures for your lenses that you can use freely, and earn money from the sales of those pictures on your lenses.

Allposters is the better known source which is a commercial vendor of art prints, and has an affiliate program that you can sign up for.  From Allposters, you can add classic art prints from the old masters or more modern photographs.

Another source, which is quite underused, is ZazzleZazzle is a print on demand company that has loads of artist made designs including pictures by artists.  Many Squidoo lensmasters also sell art on Zazzle

Just as an example, Lake Erie Artists Gallery, my company has a gallery on Zazzle that includes several prints and photographs.  What is so exciting about using Zazzle is that you can not only get great pictures, but you can earn affiliate income by selling your fellow lensmasters pictures, so that they would earn money from sales too.

This lens will explain how to use both programs, and show you examples of the pictures in the lens.

Using Zazzle Pictures

Zazzle is easy to use. Follow the instructions below.

How to Use Zazzle Links

Become a Zazzle affiliate

Zazzle is a very friendly and easy to use website. In order to earn any money from Zazzle selling other people's products, and get their links, you need to become an associate or affiliate seller.

First, sign up for Zazzle. It is totally free.

Once you have an account, then sign up to be an associate seller. From your Zazzle dashboard go to the more promotion tools link. Then click on Associate Center on the left hand column (gray bar). They will walk you through the steps.

After you are an associate, every link that you generate will have your associate referral id already embedded. Your Associate Center page will tell you what that referral number is. You can get banners and other promotional tools, but my favorite is to create direct links to products like in the module below:

Using Allposters

With Allposters, you can use copyrighted material legally.

How to Use Allposters Links

Using copyrighted pictures legally

Allposters is set up a little differently. As an Allposters affiliate, you can earn money two ways.

The first way is through direct sales. If a customer clicks on any links that you have placed on a lens, and purchases something from Allposters, you will get a 20% commission.

The second way is through any other people who sign up under your affiliate link. So if you sign up under my affiliate link on this page, then a customer buys from you, you earn a commission, and so do I because you signed up under me. You will continue to earn from anyone who signs up under you as long as you are an affiliate of Allposters.

So to sign up as an affiliate go to Allposters. This link takes you directly to the affiliate program. Sign up to be an affiliate.

Next, browse through the affiliate area. You can search for pictures on most topics, and find several selections. In order to link to the pictures click on the get html link. This will take you to another screen with some options for size, and what you want in your link.

A couple things to take note: The Allposters html interacts a little weirdly with Squidoo. You need to strip the html of all the span code, and close the spaces that appear when you transfer it to Squidoo and save it. If you need help, please leave me a note on this lens.
