How to add screen size images and video to your lens.
I've been creating Squidoo lens for the past month. It is frustrating to upload an image and find that it is restricted to a small thumbnail size. I tried contacting Squidoo help but they are too busy to respond. I don't blame them with all the lens that people are creating. I must commend the Squidoo team for a wonderful tool. I just improved it. This technique is free and it will also work with any blogs that you create.
Have fun adding your fabulous images!

My photo albumHere are the steps
- Register for a free account to photobucket.com
- Upload your desired image to photobucket. Make sure it is resized to approx. 550 pixels first. A good software to prepare the image is Google Picasa. Youy can edit and resize the image to your liking.
- Copy the HTML "tag" provided by photobucket into the clipboard.
- Paste the tag to any text area in your Squidoo lens where you want the image to appear.
- Finished!!!

Steps to adding audio to your lens
- Dowload a free software called Web audio plus 1.0 and install it on your computer.
download site - Run the Web Audio Plus software and convert the "source" mp3 file to a flash file with file extension of swf.
After the conversion, test it by clicking on the play button. - Upload this swf file to the Photobucket site (use the image option).
- Copy the URL code provided by photobucket and go to the BASIX site to generate the HTML code.
BASIX site
Paste the URL into the box and enter 200 for width and 73 for length. That is the size of the control buttons.
Generate the code. - Copy the generated HTML code and insert it to the desired location on any page in your lens.
- You have done it!!!

- I like the tip on adding audio to a page! Awesome tip! I am new here but working on my writing skills and trying to create an online business where I too can have the freedom to work anywhere there is a computer and internet! Maybe on the beach somewhere!

- Thank you for the information. I was wondering if you can use photos off flickr or is that against the rules.
