    I dressed up as Morticia once in the 1960s when this show was still on the air! My sister was "Thing" .. she sat in a big cardboard box and when anyone came to the door she held out her hand with some candy. It was fun...

    These are great ideas and there are 6 of us going as the addams family but how could you forget "thing" on Gomez's shoulder or "cousin it". We made "cousin it" with a sheet, grass skirts (brown), hat, and glasses. You can not have the addams family with out these two characters. Great help though

    my favorite costume ever was in 5th grade my Mom made me a Morticia dress, we hairsprayed my swimmer blonde hair blace. took a dozen washings to get my hair back to normal, but well worth it.
