Hello world. This is my bio. I can edit it later!
Addictions Recovery
Many of us made it to addictions recovery by attending twelve-step meetings. Others did it on their own, with the support of friends and family.
We saved our own lives and for that we must know what amazing and courageous human beings we are.
New Text / Write module
Those of us who join twelve steps programs achieve and maintain recovery. We then help the newcomers achieve the same. Have you ever wondered why so few people with many years of recovery are there?; Is it that they relapse into; I believe that most of them do not relapse but "move on" to greater pastures. I am one of these persons with over twenty-one years of recovery who, after a few years of active involvement in 12 steps recovery felt the need for more resources.
I felt the need to expand myself and my personal development beyond addictions and recovery issues. Many of us in the same position become professionals in the personal growth field. We now have created a resource for men and women who are recovering from addictions and are ready to grow further. We invite you to join our community at www.livingbeyondrecovery.com. There you will find articles, interviews, book reviews, special teleclasses, and much more. Come and join us.
