The Best of both Worlds (Work & Play)

This lens is a combination of both a fantastic travel site as well as home based business.

I will touch and write about both for this lens. There are many mlm type businesses on the market today most of which are total garbage.

I enjoy this business for several different reasons.

1. I actually use the service. How many times has someone bought some kind of lotion potion or pill and then not even used it?

2. Me and my leadership are working very hard to assure my all of people are in a profit condition so there is no reason to ever quit.

The sites name is a feeder program for the travelencia site which is the actual business and discounted travel site.

When a new person comes in they must use the unselfish wealth site in order to receive the free downline members to both grow their group and get them into profit sooner than is usually manageable.

I sincerely hope you enjoy my lens and invite you to leave comments.

What makes a good home based business?

Do you have what it takes?

What makes a good home based business? there are many factors to be considered when looking for the perfect home business.

1. The product or service must be real. Many online businesses are a money game or even worse a flat out lie.

2. Is the product or service needed in the market place? Some online businesses have a tendency to offer old or tired products just for the sake of building a matrix.

3. Are the owners reputable? Most people would be surprised to learn that many of the business owners have already owned several failed ml m's. That usually means that they have gotten your money once and are now coming back to get it again under another name.

4. Does it provide a real residual income. Look carefully when considering a business that requires you to rebuild the business every month to make enough to pay your dues.

5. Do they provide marketing materials? Some do and other do not, but it is something you will want to look at before joining unless you plan to create them your self.

6. Does the leadership appear to be active? If they do that could mean that they are actively building the business and not riding out the wave while hoping their group is growing.

7. Do you have your leaderships phone number? I do, and I recommend that you do also. This way you know the leadership is not hiding behind a conference call or a web site.

8. Are they relying on everyone getting their 3 or 4 people to fill the matrix? If so you need to make sure you only recruit business builders otherwise your matrix will not ever fill up.

These are just a few of what could be hundreds of considerations before starting in a home based business.

Unselfish Wealth is a bit unique in the fact that is is a free feeder program to get your business off of the ground. We only promote the Unselfish Wealth site so all of our group will have sign-ups.

Once everyone has 4 sign-ups upgraded the entire ownership and up-line continues to promote to provide everyone their 4 sign-ups. That way everyone will have personal referrals so they can participate in the bonus plans.

I hope you enjoy my lens. I invite you to watch the videos and articles below and leave a comment at the bottom of this page.

Affiliate marketing lessons

Handling your affiliate url

Affiliate marketing is considered one of the best and easiest ways to earn some money online, it is attracting many people to this business model. As competition is getting tougher, you may need some ways to distinguish yourself from the crowd.

Many of your competitors including you, are promoting the exact same program or product, in the exact same market or in some cases, the exact same websites. Now here are some tips that you may consider in order for you to stay in this business and have the chance to outwit and outplay average affiliate marketers.

The first thing is for you to have is your own website. It can be a blog or a static site. Although an interactive site like a blog will do much more for your business than a standard static site. (more in later lessons)

Secondly, potential customers go to websites in order to search for information or to sometimes purchase items they were looking for. You will use your personal site as a presale for your buss opportunity or affiliate sales. This eliminates the need for the customer to remember the url to the affiliate site.

Next, affiliate marketers need to get rid of that ugly affiliate url or hop link. There will be times when they want to simply tell somebody what the url to your affiliate site is. Your affiliate url will likely look something like this, http://unselfishwealth.com/?id=2932 Who will remember that?

Although this affiliate url looks better than most I've seen it is still very apparent that this is an affiliate ID and not a personal site. There are a couple of things that can be done to change the appearance of this url. This first is to use a redirect service like tinyurl.com. This same affiliate url would look like this. http://tinyurl.com/4zhr7r

The example above is a good place to start, however, most people know when they see a tiny url or a similar url redirect service that the author is hiding something. The next thing the reader may think is that this was written by a newbie or someone who was in a big hurry and may not be dedicated to this product or program.

If the affiliate can afford $10 or less he should get his own domain name for what ever particular program or product he is promoting. This can be done at any domain registrar. I personally use namecheap.com or Techkat.net. Others will use godaddy.com. If you do not know just search for domain names in google and have a look around.

When you get the new url you can have it forwarded to your affiliate account. Before you do this, read the TOS of the program or product to assure whether or not you can use the product or program name in your new domain name.

Your new domain name will then look something like this. http://getunselfishwealth.com

The above example looks much more professional and not like the typical affiliate that may be spamming to you day in and day out. This link will not usually break in email and looks like it may even be a personally owned site.

The last piece of information for the new domain name url is that it should be masked. What that means is that the tool bar in your visitors browser should still show the new url that was typed or clicked into the browser and not revert back to the affiliate url. You will loose sales and sign-ups if you do not do this.

Try this as an example of what the difference is between the two.

Click on affiliate url or the tinyurl above.

Now look in your browser window above and see what is says. In both cases it will show the original affiliate url.

Now any person can delete the? Id=2932 and still get in or purchase the product. Only you are not getting the sale or sign-up.

This is especially true if you are promoting a click bank product. All I need to do is change your click bank id for mine and I will save myself 50 to 75% and you get nothing for your trouble.

Now click on the url above http://getunselfishwealth.com. Look in the browser window and it will say http://getunselfishwealth.com. It is very hard to tell this is an affiliate site.

Click on the sign-up free bar at the bottom. The sign-up page also says http://getunselfishwealth.com.

I hope you now understand a little more about how important url's are and how to distinguish your self as a pro vs the average joe affiliate marketer.
